The List Palmy was created when two city dwellers, one from Sydney and one from Auckland, moved to Palmerston North for love, and discovered that whilst Palmy had a lot of things going for it (contrary to popular belief), nobody was talking about it. If you Google search, "Best coffee in Auckland", the results  are endless. Search "Best coffee in Palmerston North, results are dismal. We want to change that.

So, over a bloody good bottle of red and some exquisite food, the idea was born to build a hub for residents and visitors, showcasing the best things about Palmy. Where to eat, what to do and where to find the best pork belly, the best espresso martini, and the best eggs benedict. It's going to be real tough research - we know, but someone's got to do it. We want to curate the best bits of palmy so you don't have to.
